Project Overview

Zen Den was designed to inspire adventure while maintaining accessibility and buildability. The compact structure incorporates elements that spark curiosity and movement, while thoughtful detailing ensures durability and safe play for children of varying ages.

Design Approach
​

I began by studying past competition winners and examining constraints such as budget and fabrication. Multiple design concepts were explored before refining a final solution that balanced playful architecture with practical construction methods. SketchUp modeling secured accurate proportions, and Twinmotion enhanced the visualization experience.

Outcome

Zen Den strengthened my ability to combine playful design with functional constraints. Visual storytelling and presentation skills were key in communicating the concept for competition submission.
